Just Getting My Bearings

Ok everybody in the digital blog world, I’m back! Trying to put both feet on the ground after a world-wind first half of 2019. Honey Hush is on this platform — everything from stories, interviews, opinions and whatever else tickles my toes that I want to share with you. So hold on to your spanks …or let ’em go (depending on your girth) and let’s take this journey.

I am so thankful for New York transplants, Floyd and Stephanie Rance who are the guiding light behind Run & Shoot Filmworks and the Annual Color of Conversation Film Festival taking place July 18-20th at the June Swaner Gates Concert Hall at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Denver. In its 17th year, the film festival created by this dynamic duo on Martha’s Vineyard has also set up shop in the Mile High City. The goal–to nurture the conversation surrounding the African American experience. Click the link and find out what’s next. http://colorofconversation.com/

For all of my Tom Clancy fiends, Denver’s own world warrior Lt. Col. Ripley Rawlings has collaborated with Tom Clancy’s co-writer and New York Times Bestselling Author Mark Greaney to pen another potential blockbuster “RED METAL” now in stores. And believe me when I tell you, you won’t be able to put this one down. Here’s a sample. https://riprawlings.com/

If you don’t have “hard” plans for the weekend, head up to WinterPark for the 37th Annual WinterPark Jazz Festival. Be advised, you might want to dance like somebody is watching…because they will be! LOL . Check out this year’s lineup.
